Objectives and Fields of Activity

• a) To analyze and evaluate information obtained from domestic and foreign scientific publications, to transfer the produced information, national and international scientific meetings and publications to the relevant parties and the public, to update the data and to make them available for similar purposes.
• b) To publish in line with the objectives of the Center, to create archives, libraries and databases in this direction.
• c) To conduct research on the problems of the settlements where university units are located.
• ç) To conduct research on the common problems of the region with neighboring provinces in terms of climate change, environment and green development perspective, to be involved in projects and research.
• d) To carry out joint regional development and development programs in cooperation with public, private sector and non-governmental organizations on the subject.
• e) To investigate cooperation opportunities with other national and international organizations working on the subject and to ensure that joint studies are carried out, to present the research results to the benefit of public and private sector institutions and organizations and researchers, to produce development programs and projects at local and regional levels in line with the objectives of the Center.
• f) To ensure cooperation with scientists interested in the Center's study topics and to implement exchange programs.
• g) To prepare development programs and projects, and to cooperate with other institutions and research centers when necessary during the implementation of these programs and projects.
• ğ) To publish periodical and non-periodical publications related to the field of study, to organize conferences, seminars and similar scientific meetings, to spread awareness studies by creating a social media account.
• h) To provide courses and seminars at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels in universities in line with the center's objectives and to encourage students to focus on these subjects, and to support those working in this field.
• ı) To organize the opening of postgraduate programs that prioritize the subjects related to the center's objectives.
• i) To carry out other activities to be decided by the Board of Directors in line with the center's objectives.
• j) To create awareness by conducting joint studies with the university student community within the scope of the center's subject.
• k) To conduct research projects with undergraduate and graduate students.
